Biography
Kazuhisa Fujita received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo in 2007. From 2007-2013, he was a Research Associate in the Department of Computer and Information Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tsuyama College. He then joined the faculty at Tsuyama College as an Assistant Professor from 2013-2018. Concurrently during this time, Dr. Fujita was a Visiting Fellow at the University of Electro-Communications, from 2011-2022. In 2018, he transitioned to an Associate Professor position at Komatsu University, where he currently works. His research interests are game-playing artificial intelligence, neural networks, vector quantization methods, and the free energy principle.
